This limited edition
book, written by Rose Estes, celebrates the 100th anniversary
of the Chow Chow Club, Inc., in the United States.
Volume I, of what will
be a two volume set, explores the roots that led to the Club's
formation in 1906. A multitude of photographs, most of which are
being published for the first time, put faces to the names of
those who established the first kennels.
Every important dog
is depicted as well, a visual aid to following the bloodlines
that were the foundation for the breed.
Personal stories,
using their own words whenever possible, bring the people and
the times to life.
Thirteen photo note
cards of the most important people and dogs may be found under
Chow Chow in the Dog Cards listing of the main menu.
The 200 page soft
cover book is an extremely limited edition. More than half of
those printed have been sold. The price established by the Club
reflects its limited availability..........................$30,
plus shipping.
